The video seems to have been filmed by a person running away and says: “Lord God. Lord God. ” In the background there is an explosion.
According to CNN, the Israeli army said the attack on the Hamas delegation in the Qatar capital, Doha, was part of an operation called “The summit of fire”.
The Vice -President of the Organization for Palestine Liberation (PLO), Hussein al Sheikh, described the Israeli attack on Doha as a “threat to security and stability in the region.”
“We firmly condemn the Israeli immoral aggression that targeted the brother Qatar“Al Sheikh said in a statement.
On Tuesday, September 9, Israel officially confirmed an air operation against Hamas leaders outside the Gaza strip. According to the Israeli press, the explosions that rocked the capital of the Qatar would be the result of a guidance on the political leadership of the Palestinian organization.
In a common statement, the Israeli army (IDF) and the SHIN Bet internal security service have announced that they have targeted important Hamas leaders, responsible for coordinating the attack on October 7, 2023 and for continuing hostilities against Israel.
Although the official statement does not explicitly mention the location of the blow, the context and sources cited in the Hebrew language indicate as a target the city of Doha, the capital of Qatar – the place where an important part of the political leadership of Hamas carries out.
During the attack, Khaled Mashaal, one of the oldest and most influential Hamas leaders, known to the public opinion orchestrated by Mossad in 1997, in Jordan.
Sources quoted by the Israeli press say that US President Donald Trump has previously informed the operation and would have provided a tacit agreement for its conduct – a gesture that, if officially confirmed, will further feed Washington's involvement in coordinating Israeli policy in the region.
