“Born in Germany, Șoptirean comes from CFR Cluj. He has a double citizenship (Romanian and German) and is formed at FC Augsburg's junior center, where he was the U19 team captain.
In Romania, he also evolved for Unirea Dej and Unirea Ungheni, accumulating experience and adapting to the rhythm of Romanian football. At the same time, he debuted at the national team Romania U19, confirming its potential ”, said Slatina.
