Minister of Finance Scott Bessent got into a public quarrel with his rival in Donald Trump's administration, Bill Pulte and threatened to hit him in the face for alleged undermining his position with the president – reports Politico. Earlier, Bessent was to get into a fight with Elon Musk.

According to Politico, to Scysia between Bessent and Pulte, the head of the agency regulating the Federal Housing Finance Agency, occurred during the inauguration of Executive Branch, a new private club in Washington gathering business leaders and elites in the orbit of Trump, co -created by the son of the president – Donald Junior.

As Politico notes, the 63-year-old head of the investment fund is known for his mild public image and considered one of the more moderate voices in administration, including in the case of customs or approach to the Federal Reserve President Jerome Powell criticized by Trump.

In turn, the 37-year-old Pulte publicly called for Powell's dismissal, and also using his position, he initiated an investigation against one of the members of the Fed Governors Council, Lisy Cook for alleged deception while applying for a mortgage, which served Trump for a reason to try to release her.
