President Nicuşor Dan says that “it is not right” for the coalition parties to attack each other, as a reaction to the attack launched by PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu on Sunday to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, during the speech from the debate of censorship motions.
“It is not okay for the coalition parties to attack each other. This is my opinion because they have the freedom to do what they want,” said President Nicușor Dan on Monday.
“Only we are in a situation where we have four parties and minorities in government and these parties together take some measures that have important social costs and then in my opinion, they should be a united block,” explained Nicuşor Dan.
He was also asked if he did not find the use of the procedure for assuming liability on the measures packages.
“It is a necessary measure in a period of crisis,” the president replied.
What Grindeanu transmitted to Bolojan
On Sunday, the interim president of the PSD Sorin Grindeanu told Parliament at the debate of the four censorship motions initiated by the gold, that the PSD will not vote for any motion, these gold motions being in his opinion only a pure demagoguery.
On the other hand, he also said that “Romania does not need extreme austerity”.
“We cannot pass with the bulldozer over the country, just cutting and conceiving. The country does not lead with the scissors and the ax in your hands! fiscal.
“It does not go with ultimatums and threats in front of the PSD. We do not govern with the gun at the temple. We will continue to say that Romania needs a clear direction, no matter how disturbing. We do not scare ourselves!” Said Sorin Grindeanu.
