Andy Roddick, impressed by Carlos Alcaraz: “I'm envious of him”
It is precisely in this context, Roddick came up with a remarkable observation. The American, who won the US Open himself in 2003, told his youtube podcast how he met Alcaraz in the locker room, the day before the final.
“I saw Alcaraz, I saw him, I do not know, at 11:30 in the morning, preparing and noticed something special about him. He does not worry about how he hit the ball. Maybe there are some specific things he wants to work for this match, but he does not need anything. I went into the training room and there was no one. He's so relaxed, man. I admire him very much and I am envious of his confidence. Alcaraz is simply fantastic! ”Said the American.
