Former Romanian international Gabriel Tamas (41 years) and Dan Alexa (45 years old) gave the blow! They are the winners “Asia Express”, Reality show broadcast by Antena 1. Although the two are directly involved in two football clubs, they accepted the challenge to venture into “Heroes Road”, which crossed three countries, Philippines, Vietnam and South Korea.

Gabriel Tamaș and Dan Alexa, the winners “Asia Express”, crossed the Philippines, Vietnam and South Korea. The two former footballers were chosen in total with 56,500 euros.
Because they agreed to participate in this show, Tamas and Alexa received 24,000 euros each. For each week in which they resisted in the “Heroes Road”, they received 2,500 euros, and the prize for winning the competition, 30,000 euros, an amount that they share fair.
The two accepted the challenge to venture into this show, although both were involved in football projects at the time of filming. Gabriel Tamas was the sports director of Concordia Chiajna, while Dan Alexa was the head coach from CS Tunari. Meanwhile, Alexa has become the coach of Poli Timișoara.
Why did I choose Asia Express? Good question. Being a sportsman, I like the competition. I was looking at the evidence and sacrifices the competitors made and I was still thinking about what I could do? I like challenges and I wanted to try something different! And, last but not least, the fun! I hope I will have a great time with my partner. Of course, I have no way of knowing what will happen there … Emotions, stress, nerves I had as a sportsman will not compare to those we will have there, but I am a confident person, strong and we will go over everything!
