Laszlo Balint (46 years old), the coach of the steel GalatiSeptember 4 was undergoing surgery on Thursday, September 4, September 4th. The announcement was made by the Gălățean club, through a statement.

During the competitive break, Laszlo Balint was undergoing surgery on the right knee, due to a meniscus rupture.
“The main coach of the Red-Alb-blue Laszlo Balint was subjected today to a routine surgery at the knee of the right foot and will return the next few days to the training sessions of SC Oțelul Galați. We wish them to recover as soon as possible!”, The official statement of the club is shown.
After the first 8 stages of Superliga, Steel Galați ranks 10th in the standings, with 8 points.
