The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, told Antena 3 on Friday that “a very important step” was taken so that the reorganization of the National Forest Administration – Romsilva should not be hindered by possible appeals in court, being created the legal basis for the reform measures.
The minister claims that in the last two years, in Romsilva, “13 directors have managed to accumulate retirement bonuses worth 1 million euros.”
“Only in the last two years, 13 directors have managed to accumulate retirement bonuses worth 1 million euros. So we are talking about huge discrepancies, money with ruthlessness that reach a very small hand of people. And this money does not appear from nothing. Forests, “said Diana Buzoianu, quoted by News.ro.
She believes that “there must be a clear ceiling at which, over this ceiling, it is not possible to receive a pension bonus.”
“When we talk about a retirement bonuses of 100 thousand euros from the moment you retired, there is no longer a retirement bonus. There are some wealth that are given, practical, in their own pocket, just because they were in the system and because they had some management positions in this system,” added the minister.
Diana Buzoianu said that only 12 director positions of the 99 that existed before reorganization will remain.
“We want to be absolutely sure that this reorganization will keep in the courts”
The Minister of the Environment also said that “today a very important step has been taken for adopting Romsilva reorganization”, by which the legal basis for the reform measures was created.
“Basically, we have passed the express emergency ordinance that the reorganization will be made on the basis of a Government Decision, at the proposal of the Ministry of the Environment. It was one of the arguments brought by the Federation of Trade Unions that would not have written the word reorganization in the law. Here is now (…) we want to be absolutely safe,”
She claims that the steps for Romsilva reorganization have entered the “straight line”.
“” We want to be absolutely sure that this reorganization will never be returned from the steps he has taken to the moment. From this moment we are in a straight line, for Monday we will put into public debate the Government Decision based on the new legally created theme and from here we will have 30 working days in which this decision must be adopted, ” Buzoianu.
