Ukraine reveals Russia's losses: over 1 million military and nearly 100,000 vehicles destroyed

Russia has lost 1,085,410 military in Ukraine since the beginning of its large -scale invasion, on February 24, 2022, the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces reported on September 4.

The figure includes 840 losses suffered by Russian forces in the last 24 hours, writes Kyiv Independent.

According to the report, Russia lost:

  • 11,157 tanks
  • 23.241 Fighting armored vehicles
  • 60,692 vehicles and fuel tanks
  • 32.385 Artillery Systems
  • 1.479 Multiple missile launch systems
  • 1.215 Anti -aircraft defense systems
  • 422 aircraft and 341 helicopters
  • 56,045 drones
  • 28 ships and boats
  • 1 submarine

In mid-August, President Volodimir Zelenski said that Russia loses three times more soldiers than Ukraine.

Russia has daily losses of about 1,000 people, on average 500 dead and 500 injured, Zelenski said. Specifically, according to Ukrainian figures, on August 11, 531 soldiers were killed, 428 injured and nine took prisoners.

By contrast, Ukraine lost 340 soldiers, of which 18 were killed, 243 were injured, and 79 are missing.

According to South Korean and Western intelligence services, North Korea would have sent over 10,000 soldiers, along with ammunition and long-range missile systems to support the Russian army in the Kursk region in 2024.

In April, it was estimated that at least 600 of them would have died, but according to a recent analysis, about 2,000 North Korean soldiers were killed in the Ukraine war.
