DS Automobiles, the company owned by Citroen in the past, launches a new model in Romania: DS8, a fully electric limousine.

One of the most anticipated models of the French independent producer will enter the Romanian market. DS 8 has a fully electric motor that develops up to 325 horsepower in top engine.

With a length of 4.8 meters, DS8 comes available in three variants: the standard with an electric motor that develops 230 horsepower, a model with extended autonomy with a 245 horsepower engine and a range with an AWD system and a power of 325 horses. In all versions the car reaches a maximum of 190 km/h.

The new model of DS Automobiles has an automatic transmission and a minimum range of 527 km. The model with extended autonomy can travel a maximum of 750 kilometers with a single charge.

In the standard version, the DS8 model comes equipped with a 16-inch media-screen media system, 8-speaker audio system and bi-zone air conditioning. The DS8 model also benefits from LED lighting for the environment, 3D -effect stops and LED headlights. In terms of comfort, the French car has electrically adjustable face seats on 8 directions with heating. The rear seats have a charter and a folding backrest.

DS8 comes equipped in the standard version with front/rear parking sensors, laminated and acoustic windows, but also heated exterior mirrors and electrically.

The standard model proposed by DS Automobiles starts from the price of 59,000 euros with VAT. The model with extended autonomy starts from 64,400 euros, while the top model has a “peppery” price starting from 72,800 euros.
