The American's words were commented on on platform X Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Polish Diplomacy, Radosław Sikorski.
“It's good that President Trump confirmed the further stationing of American troops in Poland. In matters of security, repelling Putin and supporting Ukraine, the government, president and opposition speak with one voice,” wrote the deputy prime minister.
The American Department of Defense reviews the global arrangement of its armed forces, focusing primarily on securing the country and counteracting China's influence in the Indo-Pacific region. That is why some experts and commentators were afraid that the US contingent in Poland could be stripped down.
