On November 26, 2024, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution in which she objected to the negotiations of the contract with Mercosur in the area of agriculture. The Polish government has opposed the increase in tariff contingents for poultry meat at the last stage of the exchange of tariff offers and called the EC to ensure equal conditions of competition for EU and Mercosur Member States in the field of environmental and climate standards. He also emphasized the need for a balanced approach to EU economic competitiveness, including Poland, taking into account both the interests of industry and the Polish agricultural sector.
