Krasnoyarstsev warn that with the beginning of the school year, cyber abusions switched to the topic of electronic diaries. Irina Brezhneva, the head of the press of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, warned about the scheme of citizens.
Attackers call or write to their parents, introducing themselves to the school staff. After that, they ask to update or bind the phone number to the electronic diary, and then activate the account, for which “verification” is needed using SMS.
However, in fact, the code does not open access to the magazine, but to the public services portal. There may be another step – Link to the fake site of the magazine.
“Further scammers use stolen data to enter the “public services” or online bank. Often the scheme continues with a call “from law enforcement officials”, who propose to urgently transfer the money “to a safe account”, – The residents of the region are warned.
Police representatives recall that schools never request codes from SMS, passwords, as well as passport data by phone. Any links to “Activation of the account” from unfamiliar senders – This is probably a phishing.
