Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan told Digi24 on Tuesday that the budget deficit of Romania is generated by “too big” public expenses, “too small” and “investment over-contracts that cannot be financed from what we have today in the pace”, not by the aids that our country offers to the Republic of Moldova.
The prime minister thus answered the gold leader, the deputy George Simion, who on August 30 distributed a Facebook post that suggests that the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine “depend” on the tax increases in Romania.
“It is the simplest line of attack and such arguments are not standing, because our deficits are generated by too high expenses on the pension components, salaries, oversized public apparatus, are generated by too low incomes on the exceptions we have made and on investment over-contracts that cannot be financed and we should not be financed. of highways, express roads and so on, and these are the cumulative causes of our deficit ”, said Ilie Bolojan.
The prime minister claims that the accusation from the post distributed by the golden leader “is a fake”.
“Certainly it is a fake, we have to talk very openly, but again we have to be honest with the Romanians. We have a few tens of thousands, I think that under 100,000, of Ukrainian citizens, between the book settled in Romania, part transit Romania. Many people with young children, who have fled the war. There were 16.5 million beneficiaries – well, at this difference, of 10 million, which is the impact of 10,000 people who can reach the health system or not? ”, Continued Ilie Bolojan.
He said that providing health services for Ukrainian refugees was an “insignificant” expense.
“Romania, at least in the last two years, provided them with this facility, but I believe, for example, that from January 1, next year, this type of facility, at least for those who had to integrate, if they are still in Romania, it must not be assured, but to come up with an expense that is insignificant, I do not say that, The problems, ”added the prime minister.
Ilie Bolojan also offered an example to the supply of energy to the Republic of Moldova.
“Think that, for example, in Moldova we sell energy, but it is sold at the prices at which it is sold in Romania, to support with a energy source of the Republic of Moldova, given that we know what the problems are, it seems to me a matter of national responsibility, but there are no amounts, again, I come back, which creates new problems.”
