Karol Nawrocki demanded reparation from Germany. Radosław Sikorski commented on

Traditionally, just before 4.45, i.e. the moment of the first German attack on the military transit syntax on September 1, 1939, alarm sirens were included. The participants sang the hymn, and the white and red flag was pulled into the mast. A memorial appeal was also held, a room candle was lit and a cannon salvo was given in honor of Westerplatte's defenders.
In his speech, President Karol Nawrocki emphasized that the roots of World War II were in German ideologies developing in the 19th century – philosophical and political trends that were to lead to the birth of Nazism. He noted that already in German thought there were theories of contempt for Poles and other nations, which in the 20th century found a tragic final.
The president also recalled the words of Adolf Hitler of August 1939, calling for a brutal hearing with Poland. He appealed to the history of Westerplatte's defenders, including soldiers found only after many decades thanks to archaeological research. – The seriousness of the Polish state required to find them and bury them with dignity – noted Nawrocki.
At the same time, he assured that Poland would strive to maintain peace, but if necessary, the state will always take care of its soldiers.
Nawrocki emphasized that Building partner relations with Germany cannot be at the expense of historical truth. In his opinion Poland should clearly demand war reparations. – It is a condition that we can talk about an honest partnership – said the president, while calling for government support in this matter.
Karol Nawrocki demanded reparation from Germany. Radosław Sikorski reacted
In response to the appeal of President Karol Nawrocki for the payment of reparations from Germany from Germany, Radosław Sikorski posted an entry on the X platform. He wrote in it that he “vowed that I would vote for PiS if they were doing reparations, but the transfer did not come to his family.”
“The government believes that although morally Poland is due to the German crimes during the 2nd World War, the case is unfortunately hopeless. But we will support the initiatives of the President (…) I am surprised why the nationalist side does not demand reparation from Russia, which appropriated compensation granted to us in Potsdam. Puzzling” – wrote Sikorski.
