Xi Jinping will be with Putin, Kim Jong-un and the leaders of Iran and Myanmar, at the “Victory Day” military parade, in Beijing

The leaders of some of the most sanctioned regimes in the world – Russia, North Korea, Iran and Myanmar – will be present with Chinese President XI Jinping at the September 3, in Beijing. The event, organized by “Victory Day” To mark the end of World War II, it is seen by analysts as a demonstration of solidarity against the West.

For the first time, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and the North Korean Kim Jong-un will appear in public with Xi Jinping. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the head of the Myanmar military, Minung Hlaing, will be joined by the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshian, while tens of thousands of soldiers will march through the Chinese capital, Reuters reports.
“Axis of destabilization”, in the center of attention
Western analysts have cataloged this quartet as the “axis of destabilization”, an alliance of states that challenge the world order led by the West, undermines economic sanctions and offers each other in front of international pressures.
In contrast, almost no Western leader will be among the 26 heads of state and government announced at the event. The only exceptions: Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, both known for their pragmatic relations with Moscow and Beijing.

The presence of Putin and Kim, considers the expert, “He emphasizes the ambitions of the Chinese leader to position himself as a global player.”
China, which imports about 90% of Iran's sanctioned oil exports and continues to collaborate economically with Myanmar, thus strengthens its relations with states under the pressure of international sanctions.
Confirmed participants include President Belarus Aleksandr Lukașenko, Indonesian President Prabowo Subanto, as well as former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. The United Nations will be represented by undersecretary general Li Junhua.
