An Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post: “Turkey has already announced in the past the interruption of economic relations with Israel (and yet the relationships continued).”
This decision comes after reports that Turkish port authorities have started informal to ask the shipping agents to present letters to declare that the ships have no links with Israel and do not transport military or dangerous goods for the country.
According to sources in the field, this is another measure that Turkey took against Israel after last year interrupted the trade with this country, evaluated at $ 7 billion annually, as a result of the Gaza War with Hamas.
