Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan told Antena 3 on Wednesday that there are “a few areas where we need a week, two, to identify the problems” before adopting a measure to prohibit the pension with the state salary.

Asked why he gave up this measure, the prime minister said that “he did not give up, but was postponed until mid -September.”

“There are a few areas where we need a week, two, to identify the problems. Think, for example, that now the positions in education are finalized and there are some specializations, there are some schools in Romania, to say, from the small urban area, where we have in certain disciplines a deficit of specialized teachers. Pensioners, ”said Ilie Bolojan.

He claims that there is a similar situation in the health system.

“We have certain disciplines, certain specialties in hospitals, also in smaller hospitals, also in the small urban, where we do not have specialized doctors, who are still covered by retired doctors,” added the Liberal.

Bolojan said that the “aspects related to constitutionality” are also analyzed, given the previous decisions of the RCC in this regard.

“We analyze the aspects related to constitutionality, because, again, it is a problem and here with decisions of the Constitutional Court, so that in September we can come, or in the next package, or with another measure, direct, ordinance, proposal, to solve this situation, because, as I told you, it is not a problem, Bolojan.

Political sources have told HotNews that in the project regarding the prohibition of the pension cumulation with the salary will be included exceptions for the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the public order and national safety system. The inclusion of exceptions for health and education employees is discussed.
