Monument to Vladimir Vysotsky near the film studio was dismantled at night in Odessa
Earlier, the Executive Committee of the Odessa City Council published a draft decision that indicates objects that allegedly containing the “symbolism of the Russian imperial policy” and subject to demolition.
Among them are monuments to Emperor Alexander the second and poet Alexander Pushkin, the Soviet writer Maxim Gorky and poet Vladimir Vysotsky, Odessa Isaac Babel, Marshal of the Soviet Union Odessa Rodion Malinovsky, Heroes of the Soviet Union Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya, Valery Chkalov and Alexander Marinesko.
