The management of the County Council (CJ) Vâlcea intends to introduce a road fee for high -tonnage cars on county roads, informs Agerpres.

The president of CJ Vâlcea, Constantin Rădulescu, announced on Tuesday that he is already working on a material in this regard, unhappy that some carriers do not respect the tonnage limits and several roads in the county have been damaged.

“This is how DJ 678 was damaged in certain areas, and DJ 678 A, as well. We work, and do not surprise you, to a material by which we will introduce the ruin, that is, a tax for those who make a heavy transport on the county roads, because those who break must pay,” said Rădulescu, at the county meeting.

He requested both the agents from the County Road Police Service, as well as the employees of the Autonomous Road and Bridge Autonomous Administration (RAJDP) Vâlcea to be more vigilant and to detect the cars over the legal limits.

“I make the specification that these controls are not disposed of for the drivers of cars. These controls are done for those who do not respect the law and go with a tonnage and so on.
