In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 2 million rubles were recovered from the culprit of the accident in the claim of the accident in favor of the children of the deceased woman.
The tragedy happened in October 2024 in the village of Shushenskoye on Pushkin Street. The driver of the VAZ-21074 exceeded the speed and was distracted, because of which he did not notice a 41-year-old woman who was traveling on a bicycle from the adjacent territory of the house and knocked her down.
From the injuries, the woman died on the spot.
The court found the motorist guilty of violating the rules of the road, which entailed the death of a person (part 3 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced to 2 years of compulsory work with deprivation of driver’s license for the same period and Withholding 10 % of earnings in state revenue.
“The deceased woman had two sons of 12 and 18 years old, experiencing an irreparable sense of the loss of a loved one. The youngest required the psychological assistance of a specialist. Getting to protect the rights of children, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit with a lawsuit to recover 2 million rubles of non -pecuniary damage compensation from an accident. The requirements are fully satisfied, the execution is under control, ”said the supervisory department.
