2024 became the warmest in the entire 245-year history of observations in Moscow
The average annual air temperature reached an absolute record of +8.2 ° C. The highest air temperature in 2024 was +33.1 ° C (July 4), the highest possible number of thermometers dropped to -24.9 ° C (January 4).
Only January and May were very cold, the remaining ten months turned out to be much warmer than usual values, the press service of Moscow State University said.
