A 75 -year -old man from Tomeşti, Timiş, was arrested as he ran his life partner armed with a knife, after he had managed to cut it.
Shocking scenes took place on Monday, August 25, in Tomești commune, Timiș county, when a 75-year-old man followed his wife on the street, armed with a knife.
The conflict started in the household, but the 78 -year -old woman, after being cut to the arm, managed to run to the street, to the police headquarters.
The incident happened around 12:40, right near the local police station, which allowed a quick intervention of the authorities.
“On August 25, around 12:40, the head of Tomeşti intervened, immobilized and handcuffed a 75 -year -old man, who ran after his concubine with a knife in hand, after cutting it with him in the left arm. The incident happened in Tomeşti commune,” transmitted Timiș police on Facebook.
Following the attack, the woman was transported to the hospital to receive specialized medical care, and the man was detained by the police, on his behalf being a criminal investigation file for domestic violence.
