An Israeli human rights organization announced on Monday that it has asked for military justice to investigate a general that accuses of war crimes committed in the busy Westordan, writes AFP.
This request comes a few days after a broadcast of a registration resumed broadly by the Israeli press in which the Avi Bluth general, the commander of the central military region, which this Palestinian territory has been in 1967, demanded the establishment of extinguishing hours and the circle of Palestinian villages.
In a letter to the Attorney General of the Army, the Civil Rights Association of Israel (Acri) demanded the opening of an investigation, invoking the general's comments and actions that would be a collective punishment against the Palestinians.
“We ask you to order the opening of an investigation against the Bluth division general for the suspicion of war crimes,” the letter sent by the sour.

Collective punishment of Palestinian villages
In the broadcast images, General Bluth alludes to the arrest of a Palestinian in the village of Al-Mughayyir, in the center of the West Bank, accused by the army of committing “a terrorist attack”. “Each village and each enemy will pay a heavy tribute,” the general said that the villages of the Palestinian attackers will be able to be surrounded, subjected to an hour of extinguishing or some “landscape remodeling” operations.
Protected by the soldiers, the Israeli bulldozers removed hundreds of trees from Al-Mughayyir, many of them olives. At the request of AFP, the army explained that he “cleaned” part of the land after “a series of terrorist attacks from this village” as the vegetation “prevents the identification of the enemy's movements.”
Acri accuses the army of breaking down the trees to impose a collective punishment to the Palestinians in the village. “For several months, any limit has been exceeded in the cyisordan and war crimes or against humanity have become daily. Sometimes the army is up -to -date, sometimes even participates directly, but not every day publicly recognized that it has participated and praises it,” the military prosecutor's office said in the letter.
Military Prosecutor General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi did not confirm the receipt of the letter which, according to sour; was sent on Sunday.
General Bluth has been criticized in recent months by the groups of radical Israeli colonists for condemning the acts of violence committed by the latter. Born in a Jewish colony in the West Bank, General Bluth has been attached to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the past.
