At least 10 more citizens of Russia were detained in Azerbaijan. The local police suspects them of the transit of drugs and online can, local media write. On some, traces of beatings are visible.
Earlier, the Sputnik Azerbaijan journalists and the editor of Ruptly Aytekin Huseynov (is a citizen of the Russian Federation and AR) were also detained in Baku. Which, on the editorial assignment, went to the place of detention of colleagues to record a report.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Azerbaijan’s ambassador was protected due to unfriendly actions. The head of the diplomatic mission demanded the immediate release of Russian journalists detained in Baku.
