Weekend trending in Bucharest, August 23-24: from Enescu and Gypsy Jazz, to Indie concerts, dance on Calea Victoriei and a party with folk troops from Romania

It is the last of the last rumors of the summer and Bucharest seems to have competed in cultural and musical offers. This weekend you can find everything: from the symphonies that raise the palace room, to the hammocks and grooves to the middle of the night, Indie concerts under free sky and family parties with line-up as a major festival.

For the specialized coffee, Oana Titică has a new discovery – Rășnit Coffee Shop (Mihai Eminescu 32), where cappuccino is drunk from sweet napolitan baskets, garnished with chocolate.

“The menu is a classic specialized cafe, but from it there is an unparalleled name so far – connectcino. I ask what it is, and the answer is music for my ears -” coffee served in cornets “. Basically, at the grinding, when you order a connect, you actually ask for the favorite drink (flat white, cappuccino, espresso, anything), and it comes, instead of the classic porcelain, ceramic or heat-resistant glass, in a splendid crunchy cornet, “lined” on the inside with a delicious layer of dark chocolate. The edges of the cornet are also dressed in chocolate, then sprinkled with coconut flakes (or, as the case may be, peanuts). An experience of the taste that makes every mole of coffee in every melted chocolate – a dream! ”, Writes Oana in the review on B365.ro.

Dragoș Mihăilă also tested one of the new places with Bagels in the city-NY Bagels & Burgers (Floreasca Calea 118-122) and writes so about it: “Short and object: 5 Bagels for breakfast, 5 for the rest of the day and a few burgers. The prices are between 45 and 52 lei. Types of colorful bags: with spinach, corn, carrot or onion. the part of the house ”. More in the review on B365.ro.

I also discovered a new terrace in Bucharest – or rather a new identity for a place already known. Olovina gardenopened by Captain Gheorghe Demetriade 10, occupies the space where he was in the past years communal, but now bears the imprint of the Olovina artisan beer, which has made its own urban nest. It is a relaxed summer garden, where the craft meets the community, and the rebranding brings the promise of a space to mix good beer, music and socialization in the shadow of trees. They also have food, here operating the Food Trucks from Isan Kitchen (Thailandez) and B3ton (burgers).
