Since September, all new smartphones sold in Russia will be manded without fail. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The new messenger will take in the list of VK Messenger's place mandatory for pre -installations. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, a “multifunctional service” will be created on the basis of Max for safe communication and access to state and commercial digital services. Over time, integration with public services will appear in the application.
In addition, since the fall of 2025, the Russian Rustore application store will also be mandatory for pre -installation on IOS and Hyperos. Previously, it was required to install only on Android devices.
Recall, on June 10 of this year, the State Duma adopted a bill on the creation of a Russian national messenger. June 18, the document approved the Federation Council. On June 24, the law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In mid -July, government chairman Mikhail Mishustin signed an order according to which the Max digital platform will become the national messenger. The subsidiary of VK – “Communication Platform” will be responsible for its work and development.
Recently it became known that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory all school chats will transfer to the Max messenger. The spherem platform, which was used by teachers, parents and students, will move there.
