In the first instance, he received a sentence of 10 years in prison, the sentence was to be given Monday, but was postponed for Thursday.

Vlad Pascu's defenders asked the court to reduce the sentence and re -evaluate the circumstances in which the sentence was applied. One of the arguments made by the lawyer Vlad Cristescu was that Pascu made a complaint in a drug trafficking file in the role of DIICOT – the central structure, in which he indicated Tudor Duma, said Maru. According to the defense, this approach should be considered as an mitigating circumstance.

Vlad Pascu was sentenced by the Mangalia District Court to 10 years in prison for guilty murder, bodily injury, driving a vehicle under the influence of prohibited substances and leaving the accident site.

In addition, the rights of being chosen or occupying a position that involves the exercise of state authority were forbidden and to drive a vehicle for five years after the execution of the sentence.

Vlad Pascu had been stopped by the police and left to leave an hour before the accident, after being tested only for alcohol. At the same time, a man had called 112 at 00:40 to announce that on the road between Vama Veche and 2, a car is chaotic.
