Fuel prices. Report from the station. Where is cheap and where is the most expensive refueling?


“This year's vacation is a time of small but systematic price drops at gas stations. This is also the case in the second half of August”-report e-petrol.pl experts.
They admit that from last week the average nationwide price of autogas has only decreased by 2 groszy, but drivers have reasons to be satisfied. LPG, offered in retail sales on average PLN 2.59 per liter, is currently the cheapest this yearand the last time it cost the same more than 4 years ago.

Early 95-octane gasoline also costs about 2 grosze than a week ago-for its liter you pay an average of PLN 5.77. In turn, the largest four -thistle discount applies to diesel, which a liter currently costs PLN 5.93.

“The Pomeranian Voivodeship stands out on the fuel map of Polandwhere the cheapest are PB95 and diesel gasoline. In this part of Poland, their average prices are 5.61 and 5.76 PLN per liter. On the other hand, the most expensive is in the Świętokrzyskie voivodship – there PB95 refueling and diesel costs 5.95 and 6.04 PLN per liter, respectively. The same price is also valid in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. For a liter of autogas, drivers pay the most in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship – PLN 2.79.
Fuel prices at stations. What do they depend on?
Fuel prices depend primarily on oil ratings on global markets, which are shaped by demand and supply, geopolitical situation and OPEC decisions. Currency courses, especially the dollar to the zloty, are also significant.
The final fuel price is also affected by taxes and fees imposed by the state, such as excise duty, VAT or fuel fee. In addition, the costs of logistics, refineries and fuel station margins are important.
