In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court sentenced a man who was drunk in a car with a friend by car. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

Everything happened on January 17, 2025. A 59-year-old resident of the village of Bolshaya Irba came to visit his 71-year-old friend-they drank alcohol together. In the evening, the man decided to go home in his car, but could not immediately leave the snowdrift. He made attempts to get out of the snow on Toyota Corolla Fielder in reverse, but he did not succeed.

“When the driver got out of the car, he saw that under the vehicle on the part of the passenger seat was his friend who went out to conduct him. From the injuries, the man died at the scene, ”the regional police said.

The driver’s examination carried out by the traffic police officer established the state of intoxication, the device showed 0.873 mg/l. In relation to the man, they opened a criminal case under paragraph “a” of part 4 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles.”

The Kuraginsky District Court sentenced him to imprisonment for a period of 5 years with serving in a colony-settlement with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to the management of vehicles for a period of 2 years.
