A furious robot called Moflin became a hit in Japan, delighting users with the possibility of developing their own personality and character traits depending on the method of “education” – writes the daily “Mainichi”. From November last year Over 7,000 were sold plays, which exceeded the expectations of the creators.

Moflin, created by the Casio Computer Co., can recognize his guardian and with the help of artificial intelligence learns his preferences through interactions such as stroking or hugging.
“People feel that their pets differ from others, because robots, like animals, show individual personality traits and emotions, and grow and have variable sleep cycles,” notes Eina Ichikawa from Casio Computer. According to Moflin, it has over 4 million characteristic personality traits.
Ichikawa points out that the product is particularly popular among women aged 30-40 and they thought about them.
Robots, costing 59.4 thousand Jenów (approx. PLN 1.4 thousand), are also available with optional services, such as cleaning fur.
