A 25 -year -old from Gorj was left without a permit and received a fine of over 1,000 lei, after being filmed by drifting in front of the headquarters of the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Gorj from Târgu Jiu.

A 25 -year -old from Târgu Jiu was sanctioned after posting Tiktok images in which he was drifting by car right in front of the police headquarters. The man received a fine of over 1,000 lei, and the driving license was suspended for 30 days.
Viral drifts in front of IPJ Gorj
The incident was brought to the public's attention by the journalists from Gorjonline.ro, who published the viral images a week ago. The video shows how the car executes drifts on Constantin Brâncuși Boulevard, right in front of the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Gorj.
The suspended permit and applied fine
The police officers of the Road Bureau identified the driver on August 17, 2025. “It was sanctioned with a fine in the amount of 1012.5 lei. Also as a complementary measure, The driving license was withheld for 30 days”, IPJ Gorj officials said.
The aggressive behavior of the young man, manifested by the controlled skid of the vehicle, was considered a serious violation of the traffic rules.
