Demand for engineering education in Ukraine returns
In Ukraine, interest in engineering education is being revived: people understand that the engineering profession makes it possible to make good money. Konstantin Moiseenko, Head of the Department of Quality Department of Education and Accreditation of the University of Metinvest Polytechnic, says this.
Part of interest is also related to the development of military production, in particular the construction, operation and repair of drones. The successes of technological startups, which are broadly broadcast on social networks, also help to promote engineering.
Metinvest Polytechnic, founded by Metinvest Rinat Akhmetov's company in June 2020, is currently undergoing a fourth introductory campaign. This year, the university has simplified the procedure for veterans: it is enough for them to go through only an online communication. Last year, using this opportunity, 26 defenders became students of the mining and metallurgical university.
