During his speech, preceding the parade organized on the occasion of the Polish Army Day, President Karol Nawrocki emphasized that in the scope of allied tasks and the expansion of the Armed Forces “we must all be together not only for years, but for decades.”

He also emphasized that Poland should be able to produce a million 155 mm artillery shells and half a million tank ammunition per year. “We must have our own Polish ammunition,” he argued.
He added that “we must expand and modernize the Polish army, not looking at the caesura of parliamentary elections and discussions in the Polish parliament, (only) to realize what is necessary.”
