“The Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Ilie Bolojan, visited today, August 15, the sports base of the Lighthouse and the Hagi Academy,” the Lighthouse, on the club's Facebook page.
On the other side, Ilie Bolojan focused on the Marine Day and sent a message for Romanian sailors.
Today, on the day of the Romanian Navy, we honor all the military and civilian sailors who sail under the tricolor flag. Romania is today a safe country, part of NATO and strategic partnership with the United States, and the merit also belongs to our sailors and soldiers who represent us honestly with the North Atlantic allies.
The current challenges in the Black Sea region show us how important it is to remain united and strong.
We will continue to invest in security, defense and solid partnerships, for Romania to remain a stability pillar on the eastern flank of NATO and a guarantor of peace in the region.
Thank you to those who serve at sea: sailors, port workers, naval builders. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the protector of the Romanian Navy, always protect you.
Happy Birthday, Romanian sailors! Good cart before!
– Ilie Bolojan, Prime Minister of Romania
