The European Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation. It is about Polish KPO HORECA

The European Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) decided to initiate an investigation into the use of Polish KPO money in the HoReCa sector, i.e. the tourism and gastronomic industry – the spokeswoman of EPPO Tine Hollevoet informed PAP on Thursday.

As Hollevoet explained, the European Prosecutor's Office decides only to initiate an investigation or refuse to initiate when he sees the reasons for it. However – as she added – EPPO – is not responsible for detecting and identifying violations – these must be reported by the national authorities, the police or citizens.
