Reactions from the county in which a teacher died from a stroke. “We are in a continuous stress”

A teacher from Timiș County suffered a stroke, dying at the end of July. The teachers say that the stress about what was going to happen in the fall would have put their mark. “I don't think everything had to be done quickly.”

The restoration of the classification so that the 20 hours required after the teaching norm can be assured to the holders, a process that is carried out these days, has brought a depressing silence in the chancellors. The directors still make calculations, gather and decrease hours in specialty, hours in the second specialty, hours in the curricular area and outside it, anything, trying to find the best variants so that for all the colleagues the holders needed to cover the norm.
The simulation of this process started from July, when it was first spoken that changes will intervene in the autumn. Subsequently, the normative acts regarding the reorganization of the school units with a small number of students, the establishment of the study formations and the establishment of the teaching-learning-evaluation norms for the 2025-2026 school year were also put into debate, and the teachers' fears were.
What for some actors in the “two extra” education system or “two more benches in the class” does not mean much, in small schools it has become a serious problem. The difference between eight and 10 students, in the schools in which the act of education and so suffers enormously due to the teaching in a simultaneous regime, means that a class exists or breaks down and even that a structure remains or puts the lock on the door.
Discussions about all this started at the end of the school year, first with information in the press about how schools that have less than 500 children will be combined, and later the completion of the rule will make the unique schools at the local level, regardless of the number of students.
In this context of uncertainty, discussions were also held in a chancellery in Timiș county. The first weeks of school had passed, there was nothing clear, and the fears were high. A teacher with 37 years old at the chair began to fear that the school in which she teaches, a “structure” with simultaneous education, could close in the fall, be absorbed by the school with legal personality to which she was already A few days away, the teacher suffered a stroke. He stayed in a coma for about two weeks, revealed the director of the school in which the teacher Preda, and at the end of July.
Since then, the death of the teacher has been spoken since then, other colleagues in the county have made mentions in public posts about it, linking the unfortunate event to the situation marked by uncertainty that everyone crosses.
“I ride and take it from the end after each “
The director of the Timișoara High School of Fine Arts, Nadia Baloteanu, described in a Facebook post that happens these days in schools, which implies the process in which calculations are done and overturned after each “clarification”. At the end of the post, Prof. Baloteanu also refers to the death of his colleague.
„Întâi e un ghem în stomac, care se preface într-o uriașă roată zimțată sau un nod în gât. Am mai bine de trei săptămâni în care, inclusiv noaptea, calculez ore, le răsucesc, ca să iasă normele colegilor. În scurtul timp în care adorm, visez excelul ăla nenorocit. Și răscalculez și o iau de la capăt după fiecare informație nouă, după fiecare ”clarificare”. Da, și mie mi-a venit să fug, deși îmi e mai Characteristic of the fight!
Then I was ashamed, because to leave now it would be a fairy form of cowardice. Because I promised my colleagues that I will fight for every hour, for every norm, for every man and I have to believe that I will succeed. Today I cried a few times and I am far from being the most tear.
I have a colleague. Forty-something years of education, a man's hand, a conglomerate of sensitivity and rigor, with an energy that I could not equal. The inventor of that center of math excellence in art and architecture, which you like all much. The teacher still has the right, according to the Constitution (you know that son that no one seems to give two money) to teach another year before retiring to a well -deserved pension. According to the minister with “M”, my colleague should probably be removed in the door of the school. And I don't accept it, let me go!
“And what do I do now? Did someone else take my post”
Another colleague transferred to us and another school in the spring. We have to give him a few hours, the other school does not. A doctorate teacher, a man, was breaking his hands today, stumbling, transfigured: “What do I do now? Did someone else take my post.” And I thought: And a third person took the post of the one who transferred to you, a post of which he was taken by a fourth person … and so on, in the waterfall.
A colleague took 10 for the degree, a special lady and a seamless professional and will take, if she will catch something, hours at the tail of the hierarchy. We had 3 proposed vacations in your specialization. I was ashamed that I did not think that the fourth one could help, which I had introduced into the chair of a titular colleague. I leave a vacation, the teacher, to help us to be the one who will teach the children from the arts and the claim of the rights, made with a real critical thinking!
But the most habitation crushes me that scared wheel of thought that does not leave me for a few days: our colleague from Timiș, the lady teacher who, after finding out of the director that she has no job and that the nearest would be tens of kilometers away, came out of the director's office, made stroke and died!the teacher wrote on Facebook.
“It had appeared in the press that they lose their legal personality schools that do not have over 500 students”
I spoke about what happened with the director of the Găvojdia school, Emilia Goian. “The lady was ok, 56 years old, she was checked, she was healthy, at least at first sight. He had no medical leave. She did the stroke at the beginning of July, when it was not that agitation. I talked to her in the second week of holiday, if I don't cheat, what do we do. He had appeared in the press that they lose their legal personality schools that do not have over 500 students. And then that was the discussion.
. We thought they would combat, that was the idea. What will it be if we lose our PJ? What does that mean? That we can unite, she can come to me (n. Red. – Teacher Preda at Jena Primary School, rounded up to Găvojdia school), clearly, at Găvojdia, or worse.
. That, I tell you, I talked to a story, sitting at school and seeing what he knew in the press. But it did not know that he was committed to us, that he did not combine, that … we were then and I said -leave, who knows what it is -. What she discussed elsewhere I have to know, but I did not see her terrorized, or to scare, or ask me where I am. And on Friday, before she left home, she came and told me-me, Emilia, at Gavojdia come on, but elsewhere I do not go, because I do not want to come to 4.00 from school. I better take a year without payment and I see my job. – And I say – let it see what else is -. And after telling me about her niece. (…) I spoke with her Friday and she did the stroke on Tuesday, “said Prof. Goian.
The teacher had shared with his colleagues that he plans to stay at school for two years, until he accumulated 40 years of seniority at the chair, after which he would ask for retirement. “” Four days before it happened was serene, I did not see it so desperate. But it was in stress, like all of us. For example, with this madness, we are in a continuous stress. said Prof. Goian.
At the Găvojdia School, there are, with the structure, five positions of educators and teachers, explained the director, and in the unit there are four titular teachers, so there was no question for someone to remain without a job. If instead the abolition of the primary school by absorption is decided, the problem of the shuttle is raised, both for children and for teachers. “She had a stress that she had to leave embarrassment, where she had a home, come to Gavojdia. The shock is. Stay, you finished school, everything is ok … that is, nobody was expecting from one day to make the changes. Here I say is the problem and is the shock for each of us. I have as much as they say, do they comb me, do they put me at the same time? ”, explained Emilia Goian what she went through and still goes with her colleagues.
“I went on the moral criteria”
In Timiș county, as in all counties, the calculations continue, as well as the search for solutions. However, everything will be ready until Thursday, August 14, as asked for school inspectorates.
The general school inspector of IȘJ Timiș, Aura Danielescu, says that in Timiș there will be schools, but they do not raise problems related to the chairs. “The problem is not the one, because there are two distinct things: the merits mean when they lose their legal personality a educational unit and go with legal personality to another unit, and then we are talking about network reorganizations and merits, and another aspect is when the schooling plan on the villages belonging to the villages. Study formation and with the approval of the formations can be diminished by two. We do not have a legal framework for us to work. And we do not get to abolish the villages in this way. said Prof. Danielescu.
The head of IȘJ Timiș said that he has found several articles in the law he can exploit, which he has not done in previous years, thinking about reducing expenses, only now it is more than the reduction of expenses. “At this moment, the question arises that my colleagues, titular teachers, and children first, will be in danger of leaving a locality. It's easy to say -the children go 3-4 km, or 5 km -but how do they go? I mean, we take a 3-year-old baby in a minibus without a special chair, without belts. Our obligation, the first and most moral, is to take care of the security and safety of these children. And then the first thing we think about. So I, at this moment, do not have all the data, I do not yet have the result of the small schools, because we still discuss ”said Danielescu.
Parents hardly accept, said the general school inspector, children's shuttle, let alone at a young age. “The shuttle is not easy. In the sense that we do not carry only 10 children. In the localities we have sits there are situations in which we have to transport 90 children in a day. We take them so that we almost stay on the minibuses. And from here the problem appears. We first had them in view, then see what can be done for them”, Concluded Prof. Danielescu.
