Contracts “with dedication” at Voluntari? How was the public auction for maintenance of 3 football fields

City Hall volunteerthrough the Directorate of Cultural-Sports Education and Community Identity (Decsic), awarded 3 distinct contracts, of 51,000 euros, for the maintenance of three football fields, two from the municipality, the other from Dobroiești commune. Through this “artifice” it was avoided to exceed the threshold of 143,000 euros and, implicitly, the public auction for the provision of those services.
On July 31, at 10:45, the City Hall of Voluntari, through one of the directions it has subordinated, simultaneously awarded 3 contracts with the same object: maintenance services on football fields, as the Bulletin from Bucharest shows.

All the contracts were awarded to the company Brașovene Baston SRL, established in 2000, which is presented on its own site as “the first manufacturer of lawn in Romania”.
This is a company that had a turnover of 5.32 million euros in 2024, with a profit amount to 958,396 euros. The most profitable year of the company remains 2023, with 7.5 million euros as a turnover and 2.58 as a profit.
In her field of activity, “landscape maintenance activities” (Caen 8130), The Bark SRL was in 2024 the 14th company at national level, compared to the turnover.
The treatment to which the 3 lands will be subjected involves 13 types of works, including vibroeration, over -construction, sanding, but also treatment with biostimulators, herbicide and organic treatments.
The most important of the 3 lands is that of the “Anghel Iordănescu” stadium, approved for the first football league. The arena that bears the name of the former Romanian coach has hosted matches from the European Championship U19 this summer.
The local team, FC Voluntari, hopes to promote at the end of the current season, after in the previous season he missed the return to the elite to the breaks.
