

The Saratov refinery has a design capacity of about 140 thousand barrels of crude oil per day, but now they have stopped taking oil. The agency notes that a long stop of this plant can affect gasoline supply in the domestic market in the conditions of seasonal growth in fuel demand.
Bloomberg draws attention to the fact that in August the Saratov refinery became the third such Russian object affected by drones.
On August 10, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a blow to the Saratov Oil Refinery in the Russian Federation at night struck the defense forces of Ukraine, as a result of which there were explosions and fire in the enterprise. “The plant is one of the key objects of the fuel infrastructure of the Russian Federation involved in the provision of occupation troops with oil products,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted.
