Heat wave in Romania. Temperatures arrive on Sunday up to 40 degrees

The highest temperatures, up to 39 degrees, will be recorded in the western and southwestern Romania, and the coolest will be in the extreme north of the coast, 28 degrees.

Almost the whole country will be under the orange or yellow code of heat, and the air will become suffocating, according to ANM. An orange code for heat and thermal discomfort was also issued for the period August 10, 10:00 and August 11, at 10:00, in Satu Mare, Bihor, Arad, Timiș, Caraș-Severin, Mehedinți and Dolj counties.
The maximum temperatures will rise to 37-39 degrees Celsius, while the minimum ones will be between 19 and 23 degrees. Also, meteorologists also issued a yellow code for the same period in Maramureș, western Transylvania, northeast of Muntenia, southern Moldova and the continental part of Dobrogea. Maximum temperatures will be recorded between 33 and 37 degrees, while the minimum temperatures will be between 17 and 21 degrees, with tropical nights.
The weather in Bucharest
In Bucharest, on Sunday the heat is intensified, the thermal discomfort will increase, and at noon will be recorded around 38 degrees. There is a tropical night, with clear sky and about 21 degrees in the morning.
In the mountain, the weather will be quite good, even if in the Eastern Carpathians I can come some showers with electrical phenomena.
On the coast, another hot and beautiful day is announced. The sun shines throughout the day, and in resorts the temperatures go up to 32 degrees. The sea water will be around 25 degrees.
