“The conclusion is that I took 3 points. The first 30-35 minutes I played well, I liked it. Then I made a lot of mistakes. In the second part we played below our level. I didn't play well. We were tired, physically and mentally. I had no reaction!
It is important that I won two matches in a row and that I won, although I suffered. We have to play better. I am happy to have taken these three points. There were matches where I played better, but I didn't win. We will have two days off, and for Monday we are preparing for the match with UTA, ”said Zeljko Kopic at Primasport.
Then the coach spoke about two of his players, Jordan Ikoko and Stipe Perica. Then he revealed what expectations he has from Cătălin Cîrjan, who scored the Victoria's goal with Metaloglobus.
“Jordan has quality and experience, but his last match was at the beginning of May. I transferred him late, then he had some problems. But I know him, I know what qualities he has. Perica has not had much workouts lately. But he recovers.
Much is expected from Cătălin. He's a captain now. And it's not easy. I want to succeed in resisting pressure. It may sometimes not feel free enough, given the responsibilities. But maybe with this void everything will be better, ”Kopic said.
