Wave of extreme heat in the south of France. Temperatures will reach about 40 degrees Celsius

The south of France will hit the heat wave at the weekend, during which the temperatures will reach about 40 degrees Celsius, “Meteorological Portal Meteo France donated on Saturday, introducing an orange alert in 28 out of 96 departments of Metropolitan France. On Sunday, the alert is to apply in 40 departments.

Meteo France pointed out that in some places in the south thermometers can show 40-41 degrees C.

The previous heat wave hit France at the turn of June and July. In many departments, a red, i.e. the highest, weather alert was announced. The temperatures reached about 41 degrees C., and in Paris for some time closed to visitors the top of the Eiffel Tower.
