In Slovenia, a feverish search for a lucky man has been underway since May, who won EUR 37 million in the Eurojackpot lottery and has not received the prize so far. His fate is also not indifferent to the municipality, which could be received by over EUR 5 million tax on winning.


The winning fate in the Eurojackpot lottery was laid in a collector in Kranj in Central Slovenia at the end of May. Although the win could be picked up on June 3, the winner of the prize has not yet applied for her. And it is a considerable amount – EUR 37 million is the second largest win in numerical games in the history of Slovenia.
The situation is unusual because even the lottery organizer was involved in the player's search. In recent days, Loterija Slovenije published a press release in which she called the winner to report to pick up the win.

Slovenian media remind you that The award can be a reason to be joy not only for a lottery participant, but also for the commune in which he lives. According to Slovenian regulations, the local government budget will go to a 15 % win, which in this case means over EUR 5.6 million.
When asked by journalists, representatives of the Kranj commune admitted that Any tribute is approximately 6 percent. local government budget, and the way of spending this money would require broad consultations. However, the city's authorities do not want to divide the skin in the bear, because it could turn out that the lottery winner is not a resident of their commune at all.
