In turn, in the fourth quarter of 2024, the average earnings amounted to 8,000 PLN 477 gross (which meant an increase by as much as 12.4 % year -on -year).
According to the July projection of the National Bank of Poland, a year -on -year average salary in the enterprise sector this year was to be in particular quarters: 10 %, 9 percent, 8.6 percent. and 7.7 percent In 2026, the wage dynamics are to decrease to successively: 7.2 percent, 6.4 percent, 6.1 percent and 5.8 percent
“According to our estimates, wages increased by 9.6 percent year -on -year, after an increase of 10 % in the previous quarter, which means maintaining increased dynamics. The rate of salary growth, however, decreases, which, in combination with lower inflation, creates space for reduction of interest rates by the NBP – although it is not significant” – wrote the economists of the Millennium bank, data.
