The team for helping families, using the latest sequencing technologies, compared DNA samples with samples provided by loved ones. Thanks to this, the genetic profiles of the remains were reproduced, which previously were not suitable for identification due to the extreme conditions arising after collapsing WTC towers and pollution with bacteria.
