The newly promoted Metaloglobus Bucharest announced on Thursday that he transferred to Ely Fernandes (34 years old) and Moses Abbey (22 years old).

“Our club strengthens its offensive compartment with a player who has gathered over 130 matches in the first league in Romania. 34 years old, Ely is born in the capital of the Green Head, in Tarrafal. He holds the citizenship of the island state, but also the citizenship of Portuguese.
After passing to smaller clubs in Portugal, such as Marinhense, Infesta or CD Fatima, Ely Fernandes was noted by Gil Vincente, a team from the first league, who purchased at the beginning of the 2013-14 season. He was borrowed in the second league at Oliveirense and Santa Clara.
They followed experiences at Vilafranquense and Pinhalnvense, so that in 2018 they would reach Romania. He arrived at Gaz Metan Mediaș, where he had an immediate impact in the media game. He evolved for two and a half seasons in Mediaș, during which he checked 75 matches, scoring 8 goals and offering 7 assists.
In the 2019-20 season he arrived in the play-off of the first league. In October 2020, Ely Fernandes signed with Constanța Lighthouse. For “sailors”, Ely has collected 30 presence, managing to score two goals and offer two assists. Moses Abbey has signed with metaloglobus
“Moses Abbey comes to Metaloglobus in the form of a loan from FC U Craiova 1948. The Ghanaian midfielder is 22 years old and was born in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
He is a left foot player, with a good technique and a speed that makes him difficult to stop in one-to-one duels. Moses Abbey started his career in Italy, evolving for Rende Calcio and Ravenna FC teams.
In Ravenna, in season 2022/2023, he was one of the most prolific players. In 2024 he reached Craiova, a band for which he checked 22 matches, scoring 3 goals and 5 decisive passes ”, informs the team from Pantelimon.
Metaloglobus plays on Friday, from 9:30 pm, against the Dinamo Bucharest team, in Clinceni, in the fifth stage in Superliga.
