Employers of the Republic of Poland on the President's Declaration: Step in the right direction

Makowiecka-Gatza emphasized that the Employers of the Republic of Poland see in the presidency of Nawrocki the opportunity to strengthen socio-economic dialogue and joint actions for the long-term development of the country.
“One of the key demands of the president was to restore predictability and rationality in the tax system. This expectation coincides with the many times articulated postulates of business environments” She noticed. She indicated that the volatility of regulations, the lack of law stability and increasing burden hinder business activity. “A clear signal from the head of state that greater coherence, proportionality and transparency of the tax system is necessary, is a step in the right direction,” she added.
According to the organization, such reforms must go hand in hand with attention to the balance of public finances, especially in the context of the excessive deficit procedure.

Partnership with business and rebuilding trust
Employers of the Republic of Poland also positively referred to presidential plans to strengthen citizens' trust in state institutions – including administration from the perspective of entrepreneurs.
“We consider a particularly valuable announcement of the liquidation of unnecessary administrative barriers and strengthening the citizen-oriented citizen-oriented culture”-pointed out Makowiecka-Gatza. She added, however, that the business environment expects a deeper change: “We need an approach based on partnership, recognition of the role of entrepreneurs as an important element of economic growth and stability of public finances.” As she noted, this means not only simplifying the procedures, but also “a new approach to control, interpretation of regulations or formulating regulatory obligations”.
Makowiecka-Gatza emphasized the organization's readiness to cooperate with the Presidential Palace: “Employers of the Republic of Poland are ready to support the Presidential Palace in the identification of key barriers and in the development of constructive recommendations.”

Cooperation in key areas of development
Referring to the president's announcement regarding the strengthening of the country's defense capabilities, the Employers of the Republic of Poland drew attention to the growing importance of the private sector as a source of innovation and industrial facilities. “We postulate a policy that will enable the long -term involvement of enterprises in the implementation of the state's defense goals, including through a stable regulatory environment, access to financing and dialogue with the administration responsible for the modernization of the armed forces” – noted the president of the organization.
In the context of energy transformation, Makowiecka-Gatza emphasized that she must be supreme and based on a permanent consensus. “We need a sustainable energy mix based on traditional energy sources, renewable sources (renewable energy) and nuclear energy. Only this approach will ensure supply stability, the resistance of the energy system and the development of the modern energy industry in Poland,” she said.
The presidential declaration of state investments in new technologies was also positively assessed. “Such investments, if they are implemented in dialogue with business and science, can become a developmental impulse for the entire economy sectors and the foundation of a modern growth model” She assessed.
Makowiecka-Gatza also admitted that she agrees with the president as to the importance of pro-family policy, but-as she noted-“should not be the only tool.” In her opinion, a well -planned migration policy is also needed, “focused on acquiring talents and people performing deficit competitions”. Only this approach – as she emphasized – will ensure the stability of the labor market and help the economy without violating social cohesion.
Finally, the employers of the Republic of Poland pointed out that the president should remain open to government proposals in the field of economy, “if they were preceded by a reliable and transparent legislative process.”
