President of Serbia pardoned another person. “I fix injustice”


Even before the pardon, the president was released from detention, to which she was sent for the time of pending proceedings. At the time of pardon, a final judgment was not yet awarded against her – Serbian media reported. – She did not deserve this process and it is terrible that as a president who has not pardoned for over eight years, I have been repairing injustice caused by the prosecutor's office and courts for several weeks – he said before pardon.

The woman was initially accused of attempted murder, for which she was punishable by 10 or more years in prison. The allegation was then relaxed to a serious crime against public security, which is facing five years imprisonment.
