The legendary groove stopped work. The conveyors of one of the leading Russian bus manufacturers were empty against the background of a sharp decrease in demand for heavy trucks.
According to Mash, the company closed at least until August 4. During this period, repair and restoration work will be carried out there. In the meantime, the release of buses on the brake, the factory remained only on duty guard. All 2600 employees are on corporate leave. Prior to this, it was reported that the KamAZ, AvtoVAZ and gas plants will temporarily switch to a four -day for a fall in sales.
As the press service told us, this is a planned vacation. At the same time, previously gas representatives admitted that they had to go into the rampart due to the fall of the market.
In April 2025, the groove sold 392 buses, and for the first quarter – 1016 pieces, this is about 330–350 buses per month. For comparison, in July 2024, more than 1.5k went off the assembly line, and at the peak of production in the 80s the plant produced up to 16.5k cars per year.
