The head of the PNL branch in Curtea de Argeș, Ion Cosmin Petrescu, obtained, on July 17, the fourth state function – Deputy CENE CNAIR Director for a period of six months. The PNL member has three other state revenues: from the Board of Directors (CA) of the Road Investment Company, from the Electrica CA and is also a local councilor at Curtea de Argeș, writes Digi24.ro.

The appointment of Ion Cosmin Petrescu as deputy general manager of the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR) was made by the company's Board of Directors, in a meeting on July 17. The appointment was made at the “Executive Management proposal”, noted in the decision:

Ion Cosmin Petrescu supported, for Digi24.ro, that he will deal with the digitalization of CNAIR, being a cyber graduate.

In addition to the new position obtained, Petrescu is also in the CA of the Road Investment Company, from where he earns 5,000 lei net monthly and in the Electrica CA, from where he receives 3,630 euros, according to the source mentioned above. PNL leader Curtea de Argeș is also a local councilor.

According to the latest declaration of wealth, the one from 2023 (deposited in 2024), Petrescu owns six lands, four apartments (three in Bucharest and one in Galați) and a house in Argeș. The local PNL leader has two cars, one from 2007 and the other from 2014.

Ion Cosmin Petrescu owns, together with his wife (who is employed at the Ministry of Finance), jewelry, paintings and art objects worth 83,500 euros. He granted two loans, worth 132,000 lei.

From the declaration of wealth related to the year 2023 we also find that Ion Cosmin Petrescu was also employed by another public institution: the National Credit Guarantee Fund for small and medium -sized enterprises – from which, during 2023 he received 206,821 lei, ie over 17,000 lei per month.
